Zenner commits to Minnesota for track [UPDATED]

According to Otter assistant girls basketball coach Norm Newell, Haylie Zenner has committed to the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, early this academic year, where she is expected to compete in cross country and track and field.

The senior multi-sport star has won three 800-meter state titles, along with three state cross country berths, and has set several school records on the track.

“The sky is the limit for Haylie,” said April Lokken, Otter distance track coach. “ She can definitely can be an All-American. But she has surprised me many times, so I wouldn’t put any limits on her.”
