Driver injured near Perham [UPDATED]

A Fergus Falls resident, Shane Kangas, escaped serious injury after his vehicle slid off a road at 6:45 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of Highways 34 and 123, west of Perham.

Another accident, reported by the sheriff’s department, involved two unoccupied vehicles in Battle Lake. One vehicle, near the intersection of Main Street and Lake Avenue, dropped out of gear and rolled into a second vehicle.
