Rothsay girls win first game vs. B-E on Thur.

Despite trailing 22-19 at halftime, the Rothsay girls basketball team defeated Brandon-Evansville on Thursday in Rothsay for its first victory of the season, 42-38.

Ashley Maac scored a team-high 12 points. Lexy Dunbar scored eight and had four assists. Alexis Craig, Chelsea Lankow and Lexy Dunbar all posted eight points for the Tigers. Craig had nine rebounds for Rothsay.

Tasmine Okerlund scored 15 and Megan Friedrich added 13 for Brandon-Evansville.

The Tigers will travel to Ashby on Monday.
