A Fergus Falls man was hospitalized in Fargo on Sunday after he rolled over a tractor trailer full of milk just west of Lake Lida.

Alan Lien, 52, was driving the trailer around 8:45 a.m. near the intersection of 233rd Avenue and 430th Avenue when he lost control and rolled several times, injuring himself and spilling out an unknown amount of milk, law enforcement reported. He was taken by ambulance to St. Mary’s Health Center in Detroit Lakes before being transferred to Fargo.

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency was contacted about cleaning up the spill. Lien was cited for failure to drive with due care.
