Students can make connections between college degrees and their future careers during the College 2 Careers Expo at Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Fergus Falls on Wednesday, Feb. 15.

The Expo is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Legacy Hall. Campus Enrollment Manager Kyle Johnston said the Expo is open to students in grades 10-12 and their parents, as well as current college students and area residents interested in M State programs.

Last year, close to 500 students attended M State’s College 2 Careers Expo, which featured more than 40 interactive stations where students could gain insight into college and career opportunities. Again this year, representatives of college degrees and programs will be paired with representatives of health care, business and industry and organized in the following career clusters:

• Agriculture, food and natural resources

• Arts, communications and information systems

• Engineering, manufacturing and technology

• Health science technology

• Human services

• Business management and administration.

The clusters will include careers that require diplomas, two-year degrees and four-year degrees. Scholarship, student life, athletics, fine arts and financial aid information will also be available.
