FF’s Aho, area wrestlers competing in state tourney

The Perham and Barnesville wrestling teams will be competing in the State Team Wrestling Tournament, which begins today at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

Perham (21-5), will be competing in the Class 2A tournament, and was scheduled to take on Kasson-Mantorville (24-5) at 11 a.m. today. Barnesville (22-4), will compete in the Class 1A tournament, and was scheduled to take on Kimball Area (32-0) at 9 a.m. this morning.

The state individual wrestling tournament starts Friday. Fergus Falls wrestler Abbot Aho (38-4) will compete in the 113-pound division against wrestler New London-Spicer junior Oden Rogers (18-11). The Class 2A Individual Tournament starts at 1 p.m.
