The Fergus Falls youth gymnastics teams, the Sparks and Firecrackers, recently finished their seasons.

The Firecrackers had six girls on the team this year. These girls have been in competitive gymnastics for at least two years, some more. They have individual routines and compete in meets and perform in basketball shows. Gaining competitive experience is helpful for when these girls move up to the high school level.

The prep team is the Fergus Falls Sparks. There were seven girls this year from ages 7 to 12. This was the first time many of them have been in competitive gymnastics. In this group they learn routines for the first time and compete in meets. They also perform in basketball halftime shows.

This year the girls competed in two large gymnastics meets and performed four basketball shows.

Prep Team (Sparks): Anny Fiedler, Kellen Frigaard, Isabelle Strege, Sierra Hatlewick, Brooke Grewe, Lilly Scott, and Sophia Prischmann. Competitive Team (Firecrackers): Morgan Sikkink, Julia Johnson, Emily Frigaard, Mayson Jensen, Morgan Jarandson, and Camryn Appert.

The team’s coaches are Erin Larson, Liza Enderson, Andrew Kowalski and Kim Smith.
