The Otter Tail County Historical Society state hospital coffee klatch series continues at 10 a.m. Friday, with Erin Hanafin Berg, field representative for the Preservation Alliance of Minnesota.

An engaging, enthusiastic preservation advocate, Erin will speak on how communities across the nation have used historic preservation as a catalyst for economic development.

She will further argue that the former Fergus Falls State Hospital is such a singular facility, that its reuse presents the city with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for job creation and economic sustainability.

The coffee klatch is free and open to the public. For more information contact the historical society at 218-736-6038 or visit www.otchs.org.
