The Otter Tail County Historical Society’s Coffee Klatch series ends on Friday, March 23, with a presentation at 10 a.m. by Cliff Knutson.errors

The very successful event has centered around the society’s new exhibition “The State Welcomes You: Minnesota’s Third State Hospital.”

Hired as a staff psychologist in the mid 1960s, Cliff also worked at Lakeland Mental Health before finishing his career at the state hospital.

He will speak about the changes and challenges of working at the hospital in two different time periods. Cliff also has wonderful stories about staff and patients alike, including the Dr. William Patterson who started on the medical staff in 1912 before becoming superintendent from 1927-1968.

Join staff at the museum for the conclusion to this series.
