Pat Morstad, owner of Precision Landscape and Irrigation of Henning, has 26 years of experience and sees the need to always be evolving with new services for customers.

The main services, as noted on his vehicles and website, include landscaping, rip rap, hydroseeding and irrigation. Precision is also well versed in building retaining walls, paver patio’s and driveway work. “The new buzz word is outdoor living” said Morstad. “Our designers are creating wonderful living spaces that extend your living/entertaining area. Be prepared for company,” said Morstad, with a laugh.

“We’re Belgard-certified, and that means a lot to customers,” said Morstad, a Fergus Falls native. “Belgard manufactures elegant residential and commercial concrete interlocking pavers and retaining walls.”

Precision Landscape, which includes eight employees at the height of the construction season, is proud of its employees constantly attending schooling which results in certifications for work such as permeable paving, and retaining wall construction.

Permeable paving is a range of materials and techniques for paving roads, cycle-paths, parking lots and sidewalks that allow the movement of water and air around the paving material.

“We take pride in what we do for all our projects, including work with exterior landscaping,” said Morstad. “It’s important that we show customers we’re doing things the right way.”

Precision Landscape also specializes in hydroseeding.

“We’re extremely well versed in shoreline restoration, boulder landscapes, tie work, irrigation and drainage installation,” said Morstad.

“We have a commercial applicators’ license to apply fertilizer, herbicides and fungicides to a site.”

The Precision team will design a creative landscape that will incorporate hardscapes which include rock work, contours, texture and color, trees and shrubs, perennials, annuals and weed control.
