Bulldogs win 11-5 over Sebeka

Otter Tail Central softball team scored six runs against Sebeka and won 11-5 on Thursday in Battle Lake.

Emily Marso, Bulldog pitcher, improved to 2-0 on the mound, with the win. She pitched all seven innings and a only gave up three runs, while allowing seven hits.

Bret Brochpahler pitched six innings and suffered the loss. She is 2-1 on the season.

Marso hit a home run and ended the game with two RBI’s and a run scored.

Otter top hitters for OTC were: Kenzie Woodman 2-for-3, two doubles, two RBI; Casey Haugdahl and Carly VanWatermulen both went 2-for- 4 in the victory.

“I was very happy with how the girls competed tonight,” said Eric Olson, OTC’s coach. “Sebeka tied the game at 5-5 and we came back with a six-run inning. We have a lot of growing to do, but I am excited about how we play as a team.”
