Home ransacked near Ashby [UPDATED]

A home about one mile north of Ashby was ransacked recently, the county sheriff’s office reported.

The burglary at 10605 County Highway 85 was reported Thursday. It is not known when the home was burglarized, but it was discovered that a person or persons had come to the home and went through it, strewing items all around. The home is now so cluttered with items that it is not known yet if anything was taken.

The case is under investigation.
