Ottertail check case investigated [UPDATED]

The county sheriff’s office is looking into a report that a woman allegedly wrote $6,700 in checks on an Ottertail man’s account.pm

The man reported the check writing on Thursday, saying that the behavior had been happening for about four months. He knew the woman.

At this time, the sheriff’s office is still investigating the specifics of the case. No charges have been filed.
