Flekkefest to feature All school reunion [UPDATED]

The All School Reunion and the 125th celebration of the founding of Elbow Lake will highlight the 35th annual Flekkefest that will be held on August 3-5.

The festival will kickoff with the traditional “Snoose Box Hunt” on Friday morning. Arts and crafts festival, rummage sales, and crazy daze will also be going on around town.

Several businesses around town will put up stands so attendees can sink their teeth into all the fine festival foods offered.

Kids will also have a great time as inflatable games, a photo booth and a rock climbing wall will be some of the entertainment for youth. Fireworks will also be present at the festival as they will be displayed over Flekkefjord Lake at Dusk on Friay evening.

The local Lions club are also planning a corn maze for the festival.

Other events will include a 5K walk/run, disc golf and softball tournaments.

Music will also be a part of the weekend event as Neil Diamond impersonator Dennis Amundson will perform, along with local Flekkefest Idol.
