OTC earns split against Menahga

BATTLE LAKE — The Otter Tail Central Bulldogs took home a doubleheader split against Menahga Tuesday.sheet

The Braves took the first game 6-3 as pitcher Bob Lusti threw six shutout innings, until a Marty Charest three run bomb put the Bulldogs on the scoreboard.

Game two the Bulldogs held on for a 5-4 victory.

OTC’s Vinnie Otake picked up the win as he went all seven innings and recorded 11 strikeouts.

Otake helped out his cause with a three run shot in the second inning. Collin Teich also had a solo blast for the Bulldogs in the win.

The Bulldogs will look to carry over the momentum into their Thursday home showdown with Staples-Motley at 5 p.m.
