A rural Elbow Lake man who lives near the Grant/Otter Tail county line was arrested Sunday evening for controlled substance crimes.

Around 10:15 p.m., the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office received a report from Douglas County that Jason Jeffery Draack, 30, appeared to be heading back to his home after taking prescribed medication that prohibits driving. Draack was located and stopped by deputies on County Highway 26, near County Highway 59.

Draack was arrested for a fifth degree controlled substance crime, driving after revocation of his license and an unspecified crime related to methamphetamine. A press release from the sheriff’s office indicates that the meth crime involved children.
