Money stolen from Henning home [UPDATED]

A “substantial” amount of money was recently stolen from a locked safe at a Henning home, according to the county sheriff’s office.

Within the last two months, a person entered 29619 State Highway 108 and used a key to unlock the safe. The burglary was reported on Saturday.

The case is still under investigation.
