BL man hurt in crash [UPDATED]

A Battle Lake 18-year-old received minor cuts to his face and head Saturday morning after hitting several small trees with his vehicle in a ditch off of Cozy Oak Drive, south of Ottertail.

According to law enforcement, Brady Muchow was driving east on the road around 7 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a sharp curve in his Chevrolet Blazer, driving into the ditch. Muchow was taken to Perham Health but refused medical attention.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident.
