Authorities have still been unable to locate Scott Burris, the local man who was last seen in Fergus Falls on May 21.

Last week, Burris’ unoccupied van was located parked off 310th Street, near Elizabeth, and over the weekend law enforcement conducted investigations and searches in the area.

According to the county sheriff’s office, a small amount of blood was found in the van, and the blood is awaiting testing.

A bloodhound was brought in to track Burris’ scent but was unable to trace him outside of the area close to the van.

It appears Burris may have gotten out of the van, walked around nearby and returned.

The sheriff’s office asks anyone with possible information or leads on Burris’ whereabouts to call 998-8555.

For more information on Burris and his description, see The Journal’s first story.
