WADENA — After a great battle, the Otter Tail Central Bulldogs lost a tough 3-2 game to Wadena-Deer Creek Tuesday in the Section 6AA playoffs.

OTC held on to a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh, but a deflected ball allowed Wadena to score the tying run.

In extras, the Wolverines were able to score the winning run on a single followed by a throwing error.

Zach Torgerson suffered the loss after coming in for Vinnie Otake in the first inning, who left with a shoulder injury.

“I am very proud of how Zach pitched and how we competed tonight,” OTC Coach Steve Bradsteen commented.

The Bulldogs finished their season with an 11-9 record.
