Chargers win 12th straight over Arrows

ASHBY — The Chargers offense made quick work of Ashby Thursday afternoon as the Chargers won 12-0 for their 12th straight win.

Levi Hintermeister led the Charger hitters going 3 for 4 with three runs scored and two RBI, while teammate Nolan Bartholomew belted a two-run blast in the win.

Dan Schaffer had another great outing going five innings and allowed only three hits.

“During the last few games the entire lineup has been putting the ball in play and fortunately those balls are starting to find some holes,” Charger Coach Brian Perleberg said. “Right now this team is feeding off of each other with so many different guys doing the little things right at opportune times.”

The Chargers will now wait to find out their seed for the Section 6A playoffs.
