OTC sweeps twinbill

The Ottertail Central Bulldogs softball team improved their record to 10-1 by sweeping the doubleheader over Verndale on Friday on the softball diamond. OTC won the first game 4-1 and then took the second contest 6-3.

Game 1

Shaina Underhill struck out eight batters in going the distance for a Bulldog victory. OTC’s Maddie Stueve was had a double and scored two runs.

Game 2

In the second game, the Bulldogs scored two runs in the first, second and three innings.

Emily Marso went five innings and struck out six in the win. Carly VanWatermulen smashed a home run and Rosie Johnson went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
