Two injured

on County Road 4

Two men were hurt early Sunday morning after their pickup truck hit a field approach on County Highway 4, east of Lake Lida.

According to law enforcement, a 27-year-old Moorhead man was driving east on the road near 287th Avenue when he drifted off the road and hit a field approach, which lifted the truck into the air. The driver and his passenger, a 25-year-old Mooreton, N.D. man, were both hurt, and a passerby discovered the truck and took the men to St. Mary’s Hospital in Detroit Lakes.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor. The men’s names have not been released.
