All-Conference teams announced

The Pheasant Conference announced its All-Conference teams for baseball and softball.

In baseball, Brandon-Evansville’s Dan Schaffer was awarded pitcher of the year, while teammates Tom Bosek, Levi Hintermeister, Billy Juul and Craig Campbell also were named to the team. Nolan Bartholomew and Jared Goehringer were named honorable mention

Zach Nersten and Mark Undseth of Hillcrest were given the all-conference nod, while teammate Skyler Ruf received honorable mention.

Ashby saw Gage Olson make the all-conference team with teammates Dylan Barry and Tanner Langlie getting honorable mention.

Brian Perleberg of Brandon-Evansville was named Conference Coach of the Year.

In softball, Hillcrest’s Alyssa Wolderich received both Most Valuable Player and Pitcher of the Year awards. Gracia Larson, Katherine Thorkildsen, Kristen Thorkildsen and Emily Pellegrino were also named to the all-conference team.

Honorable mentions from the Comets include Brittany Christenson, Allison Battillo and Kelsey Nersten.

Ashby saw sophomores Amber Sundal and Jeannette Evavold get all-conference awards, while teammates Meg Roley, Abbigail Ras, Emily Elliott and Paige Nelson received honorable mention.

The Brandon-Evansville Chargers saw Tasmine Okerlund, Megan Kokett, Kinsley Randt and Carlie Steffenson named to the all- conference team. Honorable mentions for the Chargers went to Sara Roers and Emma Friedrich.

Hillcrest’s Craig Nersten received Coach of the Year in the conference.
