Impassable road complaint tabled [UPDATED]

No headway was made on the impassable road complaint for a platted road on the southeast side of Otter Tail Lake at the board meeting on Tuesday.

Despite many people making the trip from the Otter Tail Lake area to attend the meeting, the board agreed to wait until its regularly scheduled meeting on July 10 to take any action on the issue.

Commissioners have been asked to consider what rights the land owners have and what rights the public has to use the platted road that intersects with Otter Tail Lake.

The board has the authority to instruct Otter Tail Township to take over the road and open it up if it decides that is the necessary action to take.
