Shol, Bostrom win Running Wild

On Saturday, June 23 over 350 runners and hikers participated in the inaugural Running Wild Trail Run in Maplewood State Park.

The 7K was won by Fergus Falls’ Paul Shol with a time of 27:56 overall female winner, while Katie Bostrom of Fargo won the female division with a time of 35:30.

Tanner Horton of Jonesborough, TN netted the one mile female division medal with a time of 6:52 and Pelican Rapids’ Drew Cowie took the overall winner with a time of 6:46.

Over 50 kids participated in the Kid’s Run WILD 200 yard dash with a nature presentation after the race given by Park Ranger, Don Del Greco.
