Motorists on Highway 210 and Pebble Lake Road in Fergus Falls may encounter lane closures when an intersection improvement project begins today.

Crews will begin by milling the pavement and building turn lanes. They will then pave the entire intersection. The majority of that work is expected to be completed in mid-July, weather permitting.

Following the grading and paving, crews will install a new traffic signal at the intersection. That work also will require shoulder and lane closures.

All work will be completed and the new signal will be operational in late July.

The intersection improvements will enhance safety at the intersection.
