OTC Legion falls to NYM 9-5

Published 7:47am Tuesday, June 26, 2012

BATTLE LAKE — The Otter Tail Central Legion team saw a rough third inning lead to a 9-5 New York Mills loss Monday evening.

The game was knotted at one apiece until New York Mills used errors and timely hitting to score five runs in the bottom of the third.

OTC could not recover as they took the loss.

Aaron Butler took the loss pitching five innings and recording six strikeouts and allowing seven hits.

“Aaron Butler threw well,” OTC Coach Ryan Hendrickson said. “Singles don’t hurt pitchers, it was the errors and a timely triple.”
