BRECKENRIDGE — The Otter Tail Central Legion team saw Breckenridge jumped out to an early lead and never look back as they took a 13-6 win.

The OTC Legion struggled in the field as they gave up 11 runs in the first three innings as errors were their poison.

The OTC hitters were able to punch in two runs in the fourth and four in the fifth, but Breckenridge was able to keep the hitters off-balance for the remainder of the game.

“if we made the plays that should be made we would have a great record. Our hitting and pitching has been good enough to win games. I will give credit to our guys for their fight and energy, they defintely have the talent to win the second half of the year. ”

Alec Mattson was able to knock in two runners for OTC, while Marty Charest, Nicke Trosdahl and Chris Wilkie each knocked in a run in the game.

Trosdahl was saddled with the loss going five innings, allowing 10 hits and giving up seven earned runs.

The Legion team will look to rebound as they host Hawley Thursday in a doubleheader beginning at 5 p.m.
