Pitcher Butler propels OTC past Frazee

BATTLE LAKE — The Otter Tail Central Legion team was able to pick up a 13-3 win behind a stellar pitching performance by Aaron Butler.

OTC took an early advantage over visiting Frazee scoring 11 runs in the second inning.

The OTC Legion was able to end the game due to 10-run rule after a Joey Tigges RBI sacrifice fly and scoreless sixth inning.

Butler kept Frazee hitters off-balance for most of the game going five innings and fanning four batters. Weston Malmstrom came on in relief to pitch the sixth.

“Couldn’t ask more out of Butler on such a hot and humid day,” OTC Coach Ryan Hendrickson said. “He threw outstanding.”
