Ottertail to riprap lake [UPDATED]

Published 8:49am Friday, July 6, 2012 Updated 12:50pm Friday, July 6, 2012

While a start date has yet to be scheduled, riprap will soon line the shore of Ottertail’s Donald Lake as protection against erosion.

The primary reason for the riprap is to protect the road that runs along the shoreline. The Ottertail City Council accepted a bid from Pete’s Nursery and Landscaping, and the goal is to begin work on the project as soon as possible, the East Otter Tail Focus reported.
