FF Babe Ruth 12U takes 5th in Bemidji tourney

BEMIDJI — The Fergus Falls 12U Babe Ruth Gold team took fifth place at Bemidji’s Babe Ruth tournament over the weekend.

The 12U gold team opened up the tournament with a 10-0 win over a Bemidji mixed team on Saturday. In their second game, the 12Uers captured an 8-3 win over Grand Forks and followed with a 4-2 game three win over the Bemidji 11-year-old team.

On Sunday, West Fargo proved to be took much for Fergus Falls as they lost their first game of the tourney 17-0. The 12U Gold team was able to rebound for a 15-10 win over the Grand Forks Thunder to claim fifth place.
