An amazing maize maze [UPDATED]

For the sixth year in a row, the Elbow Lake Lions Club will host a corn maze for Flekkefest.
The city of Elbow Lake has allowed the Lions to grow corn on two acres of the land to make the corn maze.
Terry Christianson farms the land and is in charge of the event.
“We keep it fairly small,” said Christianson. “We try to keep it so that people aren’t in there for more than a half hour.”
Christianson said he hopes to see at least 600 people make their way through the maze at Flekkefest this year.
“It’s impossible to get lost,” he said. “It’s open on all four sides, so people can just walk right out. That’s never been a problem.”
If just getting through the maze it too easy, guests can take on the punch card challenge. If participants find all of the punch locations, they can exchange their punch cards for candy bars.
“We’ve had really good feedback from this,” Christianson said. “It’s a different maze every year. It’s simple enough, but it takes some time to get through.”
The maze will only be available for Friday and Saturday of Flekkefest, Aug. 3 and 4.
“The city has been very cooperative,” said Christianson said. “They were willing to work with us. The Lions are willing to do a lot, and I think the city appreciates it.”
Elbow Lake has a trolley system that runs people from town to the airport, and it can make stops at the maize maze, which is located just southwest of town on airport road, Christianson said.
“I think it’s good for the town, and it’s one more thing people can do at Flekkefest,” he said.
