Anderson records best MN 1500m time

LIGNANO, Italy — Running for Team Minnesota USA, former Perham track star Gabriele Anderson posted the fastest 1500 meters time for a Minnesota woman and took home first at a Tuesday meet.symbolic

Anderson’s time of 4:04.84 beat the previous record of 4:05.14 by Olympian Kara Goucher.

Anderson just missed the Olympic cut this year as she finished fourth in the finals with a time of 4:07.38.
