8 FF Flyers compete at state A & B meet

RICHFIELD – The Fergus Falls Flyers saw eight swimmers compete at the State A and B meet over the weekend.weve

Steven Wohlenhaus took home top honors in the 100 meter backstroke for the age 9-10 division with a time of 1:39.48.

Emily Reard took second in the 100 meter breaststroke with a time of 1:28.50 in the girls’ 13-14 age group.

Mike Mortenson just missed the podium, finishing in fourth in the 50 meter freestyle with a time of 29.07 in the boys’ 15-16 age group.

In 11-12 age group, Aaron Erlandson (100m breaststroke, 1:48.74) and Caitlin Hexum (50 meter freestyle, 34.78) each recorded personal bests.

Jade Emery (100 meter backstroke Great Time 1:28.0), Hattie Koeckeritz (100 meter freestyle, 1:18.00), and Justin Mortenson (50 meter freestyle, 35.28) also swam personal bests in the 13-14 age division.

The Flyers will now travel to the University of Minnesota for their third state meet on Thursday.
