Pelican Rapids’ Art in the Park combines summer favorites such as food, art, and crafts with a day at the park into an event that showcases vendors from all around Minnesota, and beyond.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, Sherin and Peterson parks in Pelican Rapids will be hosting over 200 vendors.

“Our community is very welcoming, and we’ve got compliments from vendors on how well-run the event is,” Maren Gamer said.

Products featured will include crafts like jewelry and clothing, fine art, and all kinds of food. The beautiful Mill Pond Bridge connects the two parks across the Pelican River.

“We have vendors from all over the state and neighboring states. It’s accessible for both vendors and attendees,” Gamer said.

The park also features a swimming pool with lifeguards, and it close to four golf courses, and several area lakes. This year will be the event’s 24th, and it promises to be successful.
