Samantha Woida and Connor Kerr announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Donald and Mary Woida of Urbank, and Mark and JoLene Kerr of Fergus Falls.

Samantha is a 2006 graduate of Parkers Praire High School, a 2008 graduate of M State Fergus Falls in general education, a 2011 graduate of M State Distance Education in medical coding and insurance, and a 2012 graduate of M State Detroit Lakes with an associates degree in radiologic technology. She is employed at the Center for Diagnostic Imaging in Alexandria as an X-ray technologist.

Connor is a 2007 graduate of Fergus Falls High School, and a 2011 graduate of Minnesota West Community and Technical College in Jackson with a diploma as a powerline technician. He works as an electrical lineman at Legacy PowerLine in Wadena.

A Sept. 8, 2012, wedding is planned at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Urbank, with a reception to follow in Parkers Prairie.
