Fred Evenson golf tourney starts Friday

The Fred Evenson Memorial Golf Tournament will begin Friday at 11:30 a.m. at the Pebble Lake Golf Course in Fergus Falls.

Several events, including the hole-in-one contest and longest putt, will be a part of the annual tournament.

The tournament will be followed by a meal, short program and socializing.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit improvements on the course, as well as the Fergus Falls 544 Education Foundation aiding all School District 544 students and supporting the Fergus Falls Area Dollars for Scholars in Fred’s name.
