Local government filings ended their first day Monday with six filings for Fergus Falls city office, one for Fergus Falls School Board office, and one more city filing this morning.

For Fergus Falls city offices, Ron Melius filed for mayor this morning, Jeffrey McSorley Jr. filed for mayor Monday, and incumbent Ward One council member Eric Shelstad is running again for his seat. Shelstad is currently running unopposed, and McSorley joins Pat Connelly and Daryl Synstelien in the mayoral race, as reported Monday. The Journal also previously reported that Ward Two incumbent Jim Fish and Robert Reisch are running for Fish’s council spot.

On the school board level, David Prazak is running for the board’s special two-year position. He joined the school board in May after Steve Stenerson retired for health reasons.

Do you know either of these individuals personally? Do you have any inside information on any of the cases involved? Do you know the alleged victims in either case? Couldn’t wait to pass judgment on them could you? Those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones? What skeletons are you hiding in your closet?? Inquiring minds want to know!!!
