EHS Manager
Chippewa Valley Ethanol Company, a West-Central Minnesota manufacturer of fuel, industrial and beverage ethanol products, and distillers grain co-products has an opening for an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager. As part of the management team, the EHS Manager reports directly to the General Manager.

This position provides leadership and expertise in EHS matters company-wide, while developing and managing relevant programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The selected individual will offer oversight to all departments on safety and environmental issues, facility audits and interactions with governmental agencies.

Additional requirements include; strong leadership, communication, teamwork, and presentation skills as this individual will interact with hourly and salaried employees. Organized, accurate, and precise record keeping is essential for this position. High energy and ability to operate in a proactive, creative manner is important. Preferred candidates will be
familiar with OSHA recordkeeping, PSM, Management of change, HAZMAT, EPA and MPCA standards, and related items. Knowledge of the ethanol production process is a plus.  Strong computer skills and ability to utilize Word, Excel, SharePoint and internet systems are critical.
