Published 11:03am Friday, August 3, 2012Flekkefest is one of the last big area festivals of the summer, and it will highlight this weekend’s events along with country music festival WE Fest.
Elbow Lake will celebrate its 125th year as a town at Flekkefest, which will feature a corn maze, an all-school reunion, Flekkefest Idol, a street dance and a parade.
WE Fest is also celebrating a landmark year. For its 30th anniversary, the festival will feature Alabama, who played at the first ever WE Fest.
Classic boats, cars, motorcycles and trucks will come to Fergus Falls on Sunday for the Classic Car Show. This year’s featured car is the original or restored to original Studebaker.
Friday
• Perham Crazy Days featuring vendors and musical entertainment, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in downtown Perham
