DNR hosting AIS volunteer training workshop [UPDATED]

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is offering a volunteer training workshop for citizens interested in informing the public about aquatic invasive species (AIS) and how to slow their spread.

The class will take place from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the Cormorant room in the Detroit Lakes Holiday Inn on the lake, 1155 Hwy 10 East.
