Students who intend to enroll at Minnesota State Community and Technical College for the fall 2012 semester need to be aware of the college’s Aug. 13 application deadline.

The deadline is designed to ensure that students are prepared to begin classes with the start of fall semester on Monday, Aug. 27. The deadline applies to M State’s four campuses in Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Moorhead and Wadena and to eCampus enrollment.

“We want to do everything we can to promote a successful start, and this deadline is part of that goal,” said Anthony Schaffhauser, M State’s dean of enrollment.

Incoming students will need to submit an application by the Aug. 13 deadline or be registered to attend one of the remaining 1Stop2Enroll events. Those events are Aug. 21 in Wadena, Aug. 17 and 22 in Moorhead, Aug. 23 in Fergus Falls and Aug. 24 in Detroit Lakes.

To apply for admission online and review admission requirements, students can go to www.minnesota.edu/admissions.

To sign up for a 1Stop2 Enroll event, visit www.1stop2enroll.com. During 1Stop2Enroll, students will be able to apply for and be accepted at an M State campus, take any needed assessment tests, get financial aid information and register for classes.

Students should bring official transcripts from their high school and all colleges they have attended.
