Rundquist files for Fergus Falls City Council seat

Tim Rundquist filed Monday for the Ward Three city council seat in Fergus Falls.

Rundquist’s last attempt at city office ended in a narrow failure. He lost by one vote to incumbent Jay Cichosz in the 2010 Ward Three race. This year, he will be running for Pat Connelly’s seat, and Connelly has opted to run for mayor instead of seeking reelection.

Wally Cole has also filed in Ward Three. He and Rundquist are the only people currently seeking the spot.

The filing period for Fergus Falls City Council and School Board ends Aug. 14.
