Trinity Lutheran group returns from mission trip to Canada [UPDATED]
Published 7:52am Thursday, August 9, 2012 Updated 12:07pm Thursday, August 9, 2012Trinity Lutheran Church is happy to welcome back all of the people who spent a week in northern Canada teaching God’s word and enjoying a chance to renew their acquaintence with children of the First Nation People of Norway House and Shamattawa. First Nation was pleased that their children and their parents were so appreciative everything that teachers from Trinity did for them.
The mission trip events were well-advertised over the radio and the classes were bigger than ever before.
The children were responsive to listening to God’s word and to using the Bibles that were presented to them.
The family night event was enjoyed by everyone and many of the parents also attended.
On Oct. 14 this group will present a program featuring many of the adventures of the VBS mission in Canada.
