One hospitalized after crash
Published 10:51am Friday, August 10, 2012A woman was taken to Lake Region Hospital with a possible broken arm Thursday after a rear-end accident on Lincoln Avenue around noon.
According to Fergus Falls police, Erin Iverson, 29, of Fergus Falls, had stopped facing west on the 500 block of West Lincoln Avenue, waiting to turn left into the U.S. Bank parking lot.
As she was waiting, her car was rear-ended by another car driven by a 16-year-old Fergus Falls female, who had not seen Iverson stop and signal until it was too late.
Iverson received a minor injury to her foot but refused medical attention.
A passenger in the 16-year-old’s car, Heather Pirtle, 36, of an unknown hometown, suffered a possible broken arm and was taken to Lake Region Healthcare.
The teen was cited for failure to drive with due care.
