Perham man hurt when pickup truck rolled [UPDATED]

A 30-year-old man was seriously hurt just before 7 p.m. Saturday when his pickup truck rolled over north of Perham.

Kelly Melgard, of Perham, was driving his truck west on 240th Street, west of County Highway 51, when he rolled his vehicle, according to the county sheriff’s office. Law enforcement has not released the details of the crash but has reported that it is under investigation. Melgard was not wearing his seatbelt during the accident.

Melgard was seriously hurt in the accident and was transported by ambulance to Perham Health before being taken by air to a hospital in Fargo.
