Sheriff releases name in car death

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office identified the man found dead in a vehicle Friday near Dalton as Thomas Rasmusson, 23, of Fergus Falls.

Rasmusson was found unresponsive shortly before 11 a.m. on Veitenheimer Road.

Foul play is not suspected, but the sheriff’s office has not yet released Rasmusson’s cause of death.

An autopsy is being done today.
