‘Hope and change’ is really anti-Americanism [UPDATED]
Published 9:36am Thursday, August 16, 2012 Updated 11:38am Thursday, August 16, 2012“Do you see a man hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him” (Proverbs 29:20). This proverb by wise King Solomon applies to a politician so eager to persuade people that he will use hasty words in making many empty promises to get elected.
President Obama recently state that “Capitalism does not work nor has it ever worked.” Americans will never believe that. Why didn’t Obama say that before the election? We are finally learning what Obama really believes in his heart and it’s not good news for America.
Free market capitalism and individuality will soon be a thing of the past. His attacks on capitalism and small businesses prove that. Obama’s real “hope and change” has not been exposed for what it really is: anti-Americanism.
GE outsources many thousands of jobs overseas and for that it is exempted from any taxes. Small businesses create many more jobs here at home and are punished with heavy taxes and many restrictions.
America’s MIA’s, POW’s and veterans all die in vain in past wars if we now become a socialist/communist nation. They suffered and sacrificed their lives fighting for freedom, not slavery.
The Tea Party Patriots, the courageous Governor and the brave voters of Wisconsin have led the way to correct our nation to a government “of the people, by the people and for the people, once again. America is still a Representative Republic.
On Wisconsin. God Bless America.

This entire letter is an email scam that has been floated around to ill-read, easily led, impressionable people. See the truth here….http://www.thepilot.com/news/2012/aug/15/anti-obama-lies-floating-around-in-the-web-sewer/
Lying about the President is what’s Anti-American.
Whoa… Richard/Acker/chipmunk is going to rant about writing things “floated around to ill-read, easily led, impressionable people”??? That is a description of most of your audience , sock puppet.
Your last sentence should read,” Exposing the truth about President 0bama is Anti-American and a hate crime”,though that never has stopped you from spreading hate-filled baloney about conservatives or people who worship God.
You appear to be part of my audience. But who would know you better than yourself. Oh by the way, do you have an opinion on the letter or article?
(notice how I responded to your remark without calling you names? That’s OK Bill, I’ll be the adult)
Richard/Ackermunk, you are going to try to be an adult about things? Your first post about this letter was an attack on the writer as someone perpetrating “an email scam”, in your words. That’s adult? BTW, I agree with the writer.
Even when you say you are going to be an adult it is part of a statement which implies that I am not an adult for disagreeing with you. Nice try, but if you ever appear to be adult and mature, it will be a notable example of beginner’s luck.
Well Bill, I’m not the one calling others childish names. I’m glad to hear you agree with the letter writer. That confirms the basis of your political philosophy.
Perhaps if you got out a little more you wouldn’t look so foolish agreeing with someone who has perpetrated this lie on several Minnesota newspapers. Did you even check the link I provided. If you don’t trust my link why don’t you check out Bluestem Prairie. A year ago you denied the existence of 8 O’clock coffee, now you agree with a proven lie about the President of the United States.
Lastly, let me try once more to explain this issue of name calling. You can disagree with me every minute of every day forever…that does not make you a juvenile. Your childish name calling because you lack an argument does.
Bluestream prairie site is a radical, Marxist, athiestic, Anti-American 0bama propaganda website. No doubt you will forward these comments to your devoted followers there, and the usual stream of God-hating, America -hating invective will follow. I don’t log on there anymore, since I learned that they get paid by their sponsors for every hit from the curious viewers, regardless of their agreement or criticism with the leftist boo-schwa spewed out by the host site.
It only serves to verify that the Dem O Craps have nothing to offer but hate, anger, envy, and lies to America. Vent your spleen. Do you not realize that many people, myself included, take it as badge of honor, an affirmation of rightness to be slimed by that bunch?
BTW, your reference to the coffee matter justs adds
credence to my and other peoples’ assertions that you are the sock puppet Acker who used to post here but was bumped off for your insults and threats. That 8 oclock coffee incident must have been a defining moment of your leftist career, eh? Typical leftie logic that if somebody isn’t capable of naming every single coffee brand he is obviously wrong about everything… Why don’t you send that on to your master 0bama as a suggested tactic in the debates, “Well, if Paul Ryan can’t name the financial controller for the construction of the Golden Gate bridge in 1937, we sure can’t believe anything else he has to say about 0bamacare or the deficit”. It will no doubt be a convincing argument for all your diciples on bluestem prairie.
BTw, another reminder that you started the criticism when you originally insulted the people who read the letter above. But, you are outraged that someone uses the same tactic with you? Waa-waa-waa, that mean old Bill is using my own tactics on me. Not fair!! I will probably have to remind you several more times before you grasp that.
Bill, I understand your embarrassment over the eight o’clock coffee, but that doesn’t change history. I’m not the only one who read those remarks by you.
You said there was no such thing as eight o’clock coffee because the reasonable liberal you were ranting about at the time said he got up and had a cup of eight o’clock coffee every morning. You couldn’t defeat his arguments on what ever you two were arguing about so you said their was “NO SUCH THING” as eight O’clock coffee. (reasoning I suppose that if he lied about a non-existent coffee, everything else out of his mouth had to be a lie also)
Several people who commented here told you the coffee was real, they even told you where you could find it (service foods). You were proud of the fact that you stubbornness refused to allow you to go to service food to check it out. Instead you ranted on and on how the coffee was a left wing plot of some east coast socialists.
On one hand you held yourself out as a well traveled, well educated man who held forth on all sorts of issues, yet you did not know about a common brand of coffee, worse yet you refused to enlighten yourself when given the opportunity.
None of that matters, except to this extent…..your stubbornness, inflexibility and pigheadedness demonstrated in the coffee issue comes to the forefront in your remarks about this letter to the editor of several Minnesota newspapers. The proof that you are once again wrong means nothing, the important thing to you is that soldier on in that tinfoil hat army of tea baggers, denying truth where ever it confronts you.
The truth is once again available to you but once again you are so pigheaded you refuse to even look.
Hardly the mark of a well traveled, well educated renaissance man.
Richard, are you suggesting that during a conversation of opposing views the foundation of Bill’s argument crumbled and his opinion proven valueless so he attacked the suggestion of a brand name for some coffee? How does a brand of coffee solve the nation’s problems? Wouldn’t facts, math or an accurate understanding of history be a more reasonable foundation? Those are not usually open to attack. (The conclusions people make from them are but the facts are not.) Why do these comments dissolve into name calling and/or nonsense so often?
Acker, my remembrance of the tiff between you and Bill over coffee is that you were going on about having your eight o’clock coffee, and Bill said something to the effect that it was difficult to imagine that a rad lib public employee union guy like you would even be up by eight o’clock.
So you snarled back that you were talking about a brand of coffee named eight oclock, and any idiot should know what that was .(assuming that only an idiot would not prefer the same coffee as you??)
I also seem to recall that you demanded that Bill go to Service Food to see for himself that there is such a brand of coffee. But then, you are always making demands, issuing orders to people to do foolish things.
I know it to be that Bill blends a couple or three types of coffee grounds ( I believe Sumatra, Arabica, and Honduran for a bolder flavor than that puny eight oclock
stuff you like) and is not prone to following orders from loud fools.
You and Larry/Walt/whoever are still tag teaming the adults I see.
“It only serves to verify that the Dem O Craps have nothing to offer but hate, anger, envy, and lies to America.”
I’m not going to lie, this made me truly “lol”. I had to stop reading after this because I just couldn’t take it seriously.
Interesting way to have fun guys. Put in a few smileys or lol’s so the other readers know you are just joking around. But Richard, you are right. Huge chunks of this letter have been floating around the net since at least 2009 and it seems it has taken a Wisconsin twist.
Bill, you DO understand opinion is not fact, don’t you? I mean it is futile to try and support your opinion with another opinion. But there is certainly nothing wrong with having an opinion. It is just a good idea to label it as opinion. Do like this–The only part of this comment I propose as factual is the part about the letter being part old email and part about Wisconsin. Everything else is just my opinion. BTW—notice how adult I sound when I don’t lower myself to name calling, but then again, I’m not just having crude sounding fun.
Thank you for the erudite counseling, Saint Larry. So, as long as we put a smiley face on the tail of our outrageous comments, everything is just OK? Or, could a reasonable person interpret the smiley face as a smirk, such as something prefaced by “facts, figures, and an accurate understanding of history”? Is it a fact that you are Larry Erickson or the “Walt Henry” which often pops up when I respond to you?…As is now the case, Walt/Larry/whoever.
Bill, I don’t understand the purpose of name calling if not for its humor value.
But that aside, consider this example on the importance of facts and an accurate understanding of history in creating and discussing opinions.
Paul Ryan is viewed at a conservative hawk, an anti-government spending type. That seems to be the general opinion. Yet, it is a fact he requested some $20million in stimulus funds for his district. It is also a fact, in 2002 he wrote letters and spoke on the house floor in favor of Bush’s 2002 federal stimulus spending package. Wouldn’t be a more constructive effort to discuss the possible reasons Ryan would seem to have conflicting positions than to go “school yard” with name calling and character assinations? This is just one example of facts conflicting with opinions often expressed by those who comment here. It is as if some want to declare to the world they have limited critical thinking skills and a maturity level of 4th graders. Why would someone want to embarass themselves in that way?
Gee Bill, you sound just like Jerome, you write just like Jerome. You’re both here at the same time, then both gone at the same time. The reasonable conclusion is that you two are both the same person.
Now today you have your twin taking your side is a long past dispute where you prove that you both have the same faulty memory. Very colorful!
You are really delusional today, Richard/Acker/chipmunk. I will repeat my and Bill’s invitation to you/Phaedrus/Larry-Walt to meet us at the Viking or DFL restaurant on Union for a cup of coffee anytime. There WILL BE two of us, though it is doubtful the three-in-one of you will ever show up for a face to face.
Do we write alike, sure, we think alike, just as you and Larry/Walt and Phaedrus whoever say the same things, show up in the same threads, wander away at the same time. If you can prove any of your assertions, do so. Better yet, show up to meet us. We will even ask Camilla to come along
to join in the fun.
That’s right Larry. Bills motto is “I’ve got my mind made up, don’t confuse me with the facts”.
Richard/Acker/Chipmunk, and Larry/Walt, Phaedrus whoever, if you want to make those accusations that Bill and I are the same person, why don’t the three-in-one of you accept our invitation to meet for a cup of coffee? If it seems like Bill and I write similar opinions, it is only because you radicals see all non radicals in the same light, namely as fools and idiots who don’t fall for your leftist baloney.
If we seem to always show up at the same times, check your own joint appearances with Phaedrus whoever and Larry/Walt. In case it has whizzed over your head, we generally respond when your gang of radicals start spewing your oddball opinions, and we generally pass on getting involved in mundane matters. We are both educated in grammar, punctuation, and spelling, the consequence of having been educated in church schools and not in the public schools you and Larry/Walt/Phaedrus have dedicated years to dumbing down.
Meet us for coffee, the three of you. You will see we are TWO ACTUAL PERSONS. Maybe we can persuade Camilla to come along, though I doubt she will sit at the same table as you and your other personalities.
Jerome, Thanks for the invitation to coffee but I rarely get to Fergus Falls. I often, or at least in those days of my past when I felt the need to be confrontational, thought it a good idea to have meetings in public as a way of controlling emotions. I have no idea who is or how many are commenting here. There Is an oddity I have notice though–many of those who identify themselves as conservative in some form or another are also literalists, absolutists and strict constructions. When confronted with facts that can not be disputed they ignore them, call names, tell lies or attempt to destroy the reputation of the person who proposed the facts. God made ours a world of color, yet many choose to see only black and white. It is those, when under pressure, seem to be the same person. I wouldn’t go so far as to say theirs is a character defect but I would not want the children of this country to aspire to acquire personality traits such as theirs. (My heart pumps some German blood and the “Fatherland” tried that with disappointing results.)
I still fail to see the point or purpose such a meeting would serve. Nor do I care to disconfirm your conspiracy theory, if you can’t distinguish between style, tone, etc., that’s not my problem. I also don’t think that you’re “style” would change in a face-to-face setting and I have no interest in having you tell me what I think, accusing me of whatever happens to pop into your mind at the time, and being stereotyped. You go right ahead thinking that it’s only one person (because it makes you look silly). As I’ve said repeatedly, “Who” you are doesn’t matter to me because it’s irrelevant. You can claim to have whatever degrees, credentials, etc. you want, but if you can’t back it up (not just throwing around the current buzz words), then, like all other claims without evidence, they don’t really matter.
THE WORLD ACCORDING TO JEROME……..
When three conservatives all say the same thing at the same time after the same absence, they are three separate persons.
When three Liberals all say the same thing at the same time, without leaving, they are all Chipmunk.
(some of you people have Chipmunk on the brain, get over it!)
We’re only here to annoy you ChipAckerRichard – looks like it’s working.
I’m glad you know your limitations.
