Balmoral’s Rally for a Cure [UPDATED]

The Balmoral Ladies League hosted the 12th Annual Rally for a Cure Ladies Invitational Golf Tournament benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation on Monday, August 6. One hundred and nineteen ladies played in the event and raised $9,621. This money will be split between the Susan G. Komen Foundation and other local charities. This tournament is very successful thanks to so many generous individuals and sponsors.

The four lady scramble tournament was won by the team of Margo Shebeck, Carol Hamann, Wanda Meslow, and Jody Hagenson with a gross score of 63, Second Gross – Beth Franklin, Kacey Franklin, Paula Benson, Shelley Dewey (66), and Third Gross – Gloria Polman, Patty Klatt, Kim Karjala, Jolene Miller (67).

First place in the net division was the team of Kaari Espeland, Julie Espeland, Tina Bladow, and Julie Fletcher with a net score of 55.36, Second Net – Patti Mitchell, Sharon Svensk, Mary Simon, Theresa Simon (56.04), Third Net – Diana Fuder, Connie Stigen, Vicky Woessner, Peggy McIntire (57.76), Fourth Net – Peg Bochenski, Joanne Dallager, Luann Reamer, Kathy Simon (58.28), Fifth Net – Diane Buckhouse, Diane Evenson, Mary King, Marion Thompson (58.76), Sixth Net – Carol Wahl, Terry Pipho, Ann Rasmusson, Lori Wittich (58.92).
